Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC - Major Projects Across North America

CanPro Consultants Ltd. is an independent consulting firm engaged by Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC to provide Project Controls Management Services in support of major project assignments.

The engagement includes project controls leadership and specialized consulting support across various stages of project development and execution.

European Union (EU) Funded Project - Revival of Water & Organic Hydroponics - Landell Mills International Ltd (Ireland)

Budget: Confidential

Supporting as a subcontractor under this EU-funded initiative. Canpro managed administrative coordination and deployed a Senior Engineering Consultant to deliver organic hydroponics advisory, training, troubleshooting and system optimization. The engagement advanced sustainable agriculture development and capacity building in arid regions.

LNG Canada Export Terminal (Kitimat, BC)

Budget: $40B

A full-scale LNG export facility. Our team supported HSE strategy development, site safety implementation, regulatory compliance, and emergency response during the construction phase.

Trans Mountain Expansion Project (Alberta to British Columbia)

Budget: $37B

One of the largest pipeline and terminal expansions in Canada. Involved in cost controls, QA/QC audits, contractor oversight, safety performance monitoring, and project closeout.

Northvolt Six Battery Plant (Montreal, QC)

Budget: $6B

A major EV battery gigafactory. Team members contributed to planning, procurement, scheduling, HSE enforcement, and execution phase support.

Fort Hills Secondary Extraction (Fort McMurray, AB)

Budget: $17B

Construction of oilsands extraction facilities. Provided QA/QC support, risk mitigation strategies, and turnover systems.

Aurora Mine Relocation – Imperial (Fort McMurray, AB)

Budget: $2.5B

A relocation of heavy industrial assets. Led mechanical completions, quality governance, and documentation for turnover.

Heartland Petrochemical Complex (Alberta)

Budget: $3.5B

Development of petrochemical infrastructure. Supported KPI dashboards, safety audits, HSE documentation, and training systems.

Harvest Energy SAGD Program (Calgary, AB)

Budget: $2.2B

Thermal oil extraction project. Engaged in safety compliance, documentation, and operational readiness.

Cameco – Key Lake (Saskatchewan) & Port Hope (Ontario)

Budget: $2.0B

Nuclear and mining site work. Delivered fabrication inspections, QA/QC reporting, and stakeholder compliance tracking.

B2Gold Goose Lake (Nunavut)

Budget: $1.5B

Remote gold mining and processing facility. Involved in QA/QC frameworks, construction safety systems, and execution support.

KGL Constructors – Kiewit-Graham-Ledcor JV (Calgary, AB)

Budget: $1.42B

Large-scale transportation infrastructure including highways, tunnels, and bridges. Contributed to project controls, EVM tracking, and field coordination.
