Project Controls Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join our client’s mining project. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost and schedule management, forecasting, and reporting. You will work closely with project teams to ensure financial accuracy and project milestones are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update cost control systems and project schedules.
- Analyze and report project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Provide detailed cash flow analysis and forecast project costs.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact budgets or timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Prepare regular financial and performance reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project cost control and scheduling, preferably in the mining sector.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
