Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for pipeline projects. The role involves analyzing project requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and optimizing cost strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare detailed estimates.
- Develop and maintain cost databases for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Provide cost analysis and value engineering suggestions to optimize budgets.
- Prepare bid proposals and assist in contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Track project costs and update forecasts as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in estimation, preferably in pipeline projects.
- PMP and P.Eng certifications required.
- Expertise in cost estimation tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
